ChessMirror is operated by Ours Encompassed LLC and is designed to analyze public chess activity without requiring your Chess.com password.

Information the app uses

The app downloads public profile and completed-game data for usernames you choose through the Chess.com public API. It may store synced games, ratings, openings, locally created notes, assignments, and preferences on your device.

How information is used

This information is used to provide dashboards, coaching insights, opponent scouting, training tools, and—only in the local edition—optional on-device engine analysis.

Storage and sharing

ChessMirror does not sell personal information. Core app data is stored locally. Diagnostic exports intentionally omit PGN move text, private notes, assignments, and scouted-profile details. Apple and Chess.com may process information under their own policies when you use their services.

Your choices

You can change the active player, remove local app data by deleting the app, and choose whether to share a diagnostic summary. ChessMirror does not ask for or store Chess.com credentials.
